The Shakespeare Festival on July 17 is a day filled with Shakespeare-inspired skits, scenes, songs, dances, demonstrations of stage combat, a kid’s tent with crafts, face-painting and hair braiding for the little Lords & Ladies and even a “mini-Globe Theatre” puppet stage! The Festival and the Play will be presented at Veteran’s Memorial Park, located at Pearl and Park Streets in downtown McHenry.
